About us

Bangladesh Indenting Agents’ Association (BIAA) is a national body of the Indentors Licensed under the Ministry of Commerce and incorporated with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies & Firms. The Association was established in 1978 and is affiliated with the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) as an “A” class Association.

The purpose and objectives of BIAA are aimed at inculcating fellow feelings, exchange of ideas and cooperation amongst its members and the foreign counterparts. The Association seeks to protect and safeguard the interests of its large number of members. The Board of Directors of the Association is elected bi-annually. The President is the Chief Executive of the Association and is assisted by the Senior Vice-President, Vice-President and BIAA secretariat.

The Association brings out a bio monthly publication, titled “INDENTORS Newsletter” with updated business information which is distributed amongst the members, different Ministries, Government Departments/Sector Corporations and the Diplomatic Missions in home and abroad.
